This time should be welcomed as an opportunity to get back to what really matters and to turn our eyes from always ‘having’ to ‘giving’ the future years.

The things that are happening now will throw many of you into panic, and indeed they will be many results of the changes that are sad and long lasting... we expect so much at the moment and this cannot go on forever!  We speak about our ‘need’ and what we really mean is ‘want.’ Our expectations are, and have been too high in the last generations.... it is time to get back to basics and face reality.

There is much we can do in a small way to help heal the damage that has been done to the Earth and slowly bring it back to as it was, this beautiful planet that we have been given as a Garden of Eden which we have abused and taken advantage of together with its land and denizens.

It is inevitable that slowly resources will run out when the earth is now so well populated, but in the natural course of events we should be able to find new resources and new ways of using the resources that we already have.  We have not done this!  We have taken what has been joyfully given to us and abused it by not respecting it.

The land has produced a bountiful food for us, but we reduce it to a commodity in which there is no joy!  We throw it away with no thought when we have had enough. We abuse it with chemicals, and then suddenly we find that we are suffering from illnesses that are difficult to combat.  We are no longer living in tune with the earth. We are ravaging it and paying the price!

The state that we are reduced to at the moment is caused simply by greed... nothing else!  In the coming months many people will lose their homes, ordinary people who had saved and who have worked towards providing for their family. This is due to the greed of a few.

Because of the greed of a few these people may be homeless at the worst, and back to where they started at the best.

Because of greed many businesses will be finished, because they cannot afford to continue...

Because of greed children and older citizens will have nothing to look forward to for their most vulnerable years...

Because of greed we are losing many of our beautiful animals and beautiful land on this planet

Let us make a stand here my dearest children!  Do not let greed destroy us entirely!  Use the resources you have lovingly and sensibly, if we all do so in a small way...the tide will turn...but it will take time...

Re-use all can be re-used and recycle as if your life depended on it... because the life of your children and your grandchildren may well do so!

There is still time!  And it is no use looking back and bemoaning the fact that you cannot have all that you need/want, there are still places in the world where people are dying of hunger... where war (again greed!) Is fought, yet we throw food and materials out with little or no regard for the precious commodity that it is. We pollute rather than preserve

From now on make everything count, be stinting with material things, but do not be stinting with your love and care!  There will be many in the coming month's who will need help, comfort and encouragement.  Those who can see no way forward and will get little help from anywhere... if you can help in a little way with even with a word of advice even then pray do so my children.

We must look to the future in a different way, old ways must stop!... and we must begin to live ‘with grace and gratitude’ for the future
