Our Psychic Predictions for 2012

THE GHOST OF SUMMER PAST.

There is no doubt that 2011 has been a very strange and disquieting year, and as we predicted at the end of last year things have changed many times and left us feeling somewhat unhinged about the future.

What is most evident is that in most areas of our lives, for some people, things have got much worse.  We can no longer take for granted even basic things such as food and a roof over our heads, but to my mind in some ways this may be no bad thing for our survival in the future.

For years we have been led to expect that we will always have all that we need, that there will be no real poverty in the British Isles, and that all we have to do is work hard and save.  It is very evident now that this is simply not the case.

We simply can not go on as we were, and not just on an individual basis but on a global basis… We have misused the available resources for long enough, now we have to really think about what we really need and waste as little as possible!  I believe that this way we can turn things around and probably feel healthier and happier in the doing.

I did say at the end of last year that things would get worse before they got better, and indeed they have…. but let's not be too depressed about this, there are things that we can do, indeed we can learn how to proceed from our relatively recent past.

  There is a glimmer of success for the future never forget this!

During the last war (World War II) we had to live on very simple food, there were many things we had to do without, but we learned how to replace them with things that were plentiful.

Certainly there was not the range of luxuries that there had been previously, but there is a lot to be said for as the slogan went in the last war ‘Make do and mend!’

At that time there were things we could not have, and so we had to do without them and compensate with something else… now we may have to do so again!

There is a great deal of pleasure and self-satisfaction in providing for oneself, instead of relying on the supermarket shelf and it's alarmingly rising prices.

There is a wealth of literature both in the form of books and on the media at the moment that will help us, and if all of us played our part in trying not to waste anything, it would help the tide to begin to turn.

So what can we see in my Tarot Cards and Theo's astrological predictions for 2012?

The Eighth of Swords. Mars retrograde.  The beginning of the year we believe will bring more hardship, and as I said at this time last year, large organisations that we thought would be there forever will suffer hardships which will have a knock-on effect with us all.

We see early spring bringing intensely difficult months, in which we will have to make hard personal decisions as to how to live our life and still be able to enjoy some of the luxuries that we have previously taken a granted.

The Ninth of Rods. Saturn & Pluto retrograde. Late spring to Midsummer brings an atmosphere of restraints and restriction, but also some unexpected benefits… during this time some doors will once again be open to us, and although many of us will not be able to continue either with work or the way we live our lives in the way that we have in the past, there will be quite exciting options open to many… and Theo and I believe we will at this time very very slowly begin to see the tide turn.

Justice. Neptune Uranus & Pluto retrograde. Midsummer into autumn we believe will be somewhat calmer and more optimistic generally, and after the riots and business closures of last year, and the threat of a double dip recession, things will begin to bottom out… but this is not recovery, it is simply we believe us having hit the bottom!  Autumn 2012 will indeed see some extraordinary things happening worldwide, and smaller groups of people banding together into larger units for self-help and to create new employment in a completely different way!  We believe there will be something of a return to the self-sufficiency movement of the 70s (of which I personally was part) but in a more balanced way, which does not require acres of land, but simply making use of all that you can and of all that you have.

Temperance. Neptune Uranus & Pluto return to normal. The end of autumn and winter into the beginning of 2013 is when we begin to see real change, and an optimism and self-sufficiency that has been missing for at least the past two years…. so if we can survive the next 12 months, my belief is that we have cracked it!

This isn't going back to the past, this is simply taking a new route into the future that is realistic, and one in which we will all have to travel to be successful.
